Shipping & Refund Policy

Shipping Policy

  • When we receive an order, we forward it to the appropriate seller within 24-48 hours from when the order was placed (excluding national holidays).
  • Shipping charges will be calculated and displayed during checkout.
  • We offer delivery at doorstep or in-store pickup based on the seller shipping policy of the product.
  • Delivery of the product happens once the order has been received by the seller usually between 1-3 days for items that do not require any assembly and inspection and 5-7 days for items which require customization, assembly or inspection excluding national holidays, busy times due to high volumes or natural disasters.

Doorstep delivery

  • Once the seller has received your order, he is responsible to pack and ship the product. The seller will be sharing the delivery timelines and tracking of your product.
  • Delivery of the product happens once the order has been received by the seller usually between 1-3 days for items that do not require any assembly and inspection and 5-7 days for items which require customization, assembly or inspection.
  • There could be potential delays due to high volume of orders during festive seasons, pre-orders or during any natural disaster.
  • Since we do not have our own trusted shipping partner yet, GearX will not be responsible for any issues with shipping from a seller. However, we do understand that you could encounter issues and are happy to help in case of any issues. Please write to our email admin@gearx.in in such cases.

In-store pickup

  • You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup from the seller stated stores. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1-3 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.
  • In-store pickup hours are usually 11.30 AM – 5PM on weekdays. This is however dependent on the seller of the product and can likely change. You will be notified of the pickup hours via email when your order is ready. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you go to pickup at the store.
  • We do not offer international shipping at the moment.
  • In order to provide you with a trusted shopping experience, we have a secure transaction payment system in place which would require your confirmation on the delivery of the product ensuring your funds are protected.

Returns

  • This policy is valid for a maximum of 10 days from the date of purchase. You will not be eligible for returns if the window is beyond 10 days. Our return policy is dependent on the seller return policy that has been stated for the specific product that has been bought. Returns are not applicable for all products and categories and is dependent on the seller. Please ensure you check the return policy listed by the seller for the product during your purchase.
  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. You will need to ship the product back to the seller address. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Unfortunately we do not have a shipping partner yet and do not provide a return pickup. But we are working on getting this feature as soon as possible.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
  • Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
  • You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Your refund will be processed only when we receive a confirmation from the seller of the returned product and verified to be in good condition.

Cancellation

  • You can cancel an order within 24 hours of placing the order after which it will not be possible to cancel. The order will be sent to the seller for further processing.

Refunds (if applicable)

  • Once your return is received and inspected by the seller, we will send you an email to notify you that the seller has received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

  • If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
  • Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)

  • Only items that can be exchange are if they are defective or damaged. Our exchange policy is dependent on the seller exchange policy that has been stated for the specific product that has been sold/bought. Please ensure you check the exchange policy listed by the seller for the product during your purchase.
  • Please send an email to admin@gearx.in in case you receive a defective or damaged product and require an exchange.
